MASTERS OF OSTEOPATHY
Tom acquired his Masters of Osteopathy Degree in July 2019, from the U.K. and officially moved to Canada in September. Tom has worked in four different clinical settings across the UK and Canada, treating a wide variety of patients. These range from acute injuries in sporting athletes, chronic pain patients on various medications, issues which can arise from pregnancy as well as those born with genetic musculoskeletal disorders.
Tom likes to take a very functional approach to his patients, reducing their pain while teaching them how it originally occurred but also how to avoid re-injury or repeated episodes. Tom believes the more a patient understands the whole process, the more they will receive from their appointments.
Outside of Osteopathy, Tom enjoys an active lifestyle of weekend hiking accompanied by regular gym sessions and travelling around Nova Scotia. Tom has a history of training and competing in martial arts.
