MASSAGE THERAPY, ATHLETIC THERAPY, OSTEOPATHIC MANUAL PRACTITIONER
Jody has been a therapist for over 20 years. In Colorado she worked for the Denver Broncos Sports Medicine Clinic. While living in the Cayman Islands she worked and traveled with National teams including football, rugby, swimming, and track and field.
Jody graduated with a Bachelor degree in Exercise Science/Massage Therapy from the University of Colorado Denver and also holds a Masters degree from the University of Northern Colorado, emphasis in exercise therapy.
She is presently a member of the Massage Therapist Association of Nova Scotia, the Canadian College of Osteopathy, and she possesses certifications from the National Athletic Trainers Assoc, the National Strength and Conditioning Assoc, the American College of Sports Medicine and the Canadian Fitness Professionals. As an osteopathic manual practitioner, Jody provides treatment for the entire body; through osteopathic technique her treatment interconnects the different areas of the body.
If you have been suffering from an injury that is keeping you from achieving your fitness goals, Jody can help you successfully bridge the gap between the two. "Make Osteopathy part of the training, not a result of..."
Jody practices what she preaches, a fitness regimen that is quite varied and emphasizes balance of mind, body and spirit. She enjoys running, cycling, yoga, and teaching strength training classes.
