Eleni has successfully completed a five-year graduate Diploma program with the Canadian College of Osteopathy in Halifax. She is a member of NSAO, OAO, MTANS, ISMETA and BMCA.
Eleni graduated with high honors from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in Bedford and holds a Chartered Herbalist degree from Dominion Herbal College in Burnaby, BC.
Eleni is also one of only two Body-Mind Centering® practioners in the Maritime Provinces, having graduated with honors from the School for in Body-Mind Centering® in Amherst, Massachusetts. Body-Mind Centering® combines the best of developmental movement re-patterning and movement therapy with gentle hands-on techniques
Eleni believes in empowering clients with mind-body awareness to enable them to participate in their body’s return to optimal health. This affords the client the opportunity to take an active role in unraveling chronic aches and pains, perceptual and learning difficulties, headaches, eating disorders, emotional difficulties, sports injuries, hypertension and poor posture, experience relaxation and balance, improve performance, coordination and flexibility, prevent injuries, tackle problems, support sleep and digestion, expand creativity and increase quality of life.
Eleni believes in a multi disciplinary approach to health and wellness. Combining the best skills as an Osteopatic Manual Practitioner, a Registered Massage Therapist, a Registered Yoga Therapist, a Registered Movement Therapist, a Bowen therapist and as a Body-Mind Centering® practioner with Hanna Somatics, and Arvigo Myan massage techniques , she is able to deliver a treatment plan tailored to suit the individual needs of her clients.
